Discovery Lab (DLCOL1)

Discovery Labs make science fun.

We learn about electricity, making batteries from lemons in series to light LEDs. Students electroplate pennies, and solder simple circuits. They experience the gas laws using dry ice and a vacuum chamber; REDOX reactions using magnesium and zinc. All experiments are safe and fun. All protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats provided).
